I was approached by a friend in the Jackson area to bring his vision to life for The Salon at Fondren.

The Salon at Fondren is a hair salon in my local area that is a sleek, sophisticated place where anyone is welcome. The salon aims to provide local people with style, creative edge, self care, and the luxury they deserve. I created a conclusive brand that captured just this. For this project, I created a brand that was inspired by the variety of hair patterns and textures people have, showing that this place aims to enhance natural beauty and celebrate anyone who walks through their doors. To evoke these sorts of feelings for people, it felt crucial that the environment felt this way too. I created a custom wall decal that sits at the entrance of the salon. With both boldness and softness in appearance, I wanted to create something that could speak to anyone that walked in the door.
